How do I choose my Colour

We offer 3 helpful ways for you to choose the right colour.

  1. Choose from our photos and videos to match your hair
  2. Send us a photo of your hair in natural light to inquiries@rapunzledhair.com and we will help you choose your colour
  3. You can order a colour swatch directly to your home. This will guarantee a perfect match for you.

How do I choose my weight

We offer 3 different weights for different hair types.

  1. 160 g for fine hair
  2. 200 g for medium thickness
  3. 250 g for thick hair

We also fulfill custom orders if you feel these options aren’t right for you. But overall, weight is determined by the thickness of your hair.


How do I choose my Length
    • Length is determined by the look you are going for and can be matched with whatever length you have. If want extreme length, anything starting at 22" and up will give you length from your ribs and below. Anything less can give you more fullness.
    Can I wash my Rapunzled Extensions
      • Yes. If you have Tape-ins, they are a more permanent solution and can be washed normally with your own hair as often as needed. For clip-ins, they only need to be washed every 2 weeks, with lukewarm water in any sink that is convenient for you. See our How-To Video. 
      How Do I apply my Rapunzled Clip-ins
        • Starting at the nape of your neck, separate your hair into a small section and start with the smaller wefts, attaching clips to your hair. Repeat this action all the way up your scalp until completely covered.
        How Do I Apply my Rapunzled Tape-ins
          • Tape ins are more difficult to attempt on your own, so it is recommended that have someone apply them for you. You can go to a salon and have them applied by a specialist, or you have a family or friend apply them for you. Same process clip ins, you start from the nape of your neck with a small section. Tape one tape weft, remove the plastic and apply to the bottom of your section. Take the second strip and sandwich your hair in between the two tape wefts.
          I don’t see my length/colour or weight. What do I do?
            • If you are not satisfied with the selection we offer for either, please send us a custom request, and we can ensure you get the colour, length and weight you desire.
            How Long Does Shipping Take?
              • This depends on your location, and request. If you choose our options that are displayed, you should receive your hair approx 2 weeks. If you choose to customize your order 3+ weeks
              What is your Return & Exchange Policy
                • If you are unhappy with your order and the hair has not been worn we will gladly return your funds once we receive the hair and it has been inspected within 40 days. If you need to be re-matched for a colour, once we receive the hair, we will help you choose another colour. 
                Can I Color My Rapunzled Bundle?
                  • Yes, our hair is 100% Human Virgin Remy hair which mimics our own. Meaning anything you normally do to your hair, including colouring, you can to your Rapunzled extensions.
                  Can I Apply Heat, Colour and Straighten my bundles?
                    • Yes you can apply heat with any styling tool to your extensions. But as you would protect your own hair from heat with product, we recommend you also do so for your extensions.
                    Can I sleep with my Hair Extensions?
                      • Yes you can sleep with both Clip-ins and tape-ins. We recommend to tie your hair up high on the top of your head or a braid will suffice to prevent tangling while you sleep. Clip ins are more uncomfortable to sleep in, so it is recommended to remove your clip ins for the night for full comfort.  
                      Can I play Sports When I am Rapunzled?
                        • Yes of course! Extensions can be worn for any activity or leisure. They do not affect your ability to play sports and are comfortable enough to do so.
                        Can my Tape-ins be Reused
                          • Yes, Tape-ins are amazing for this simple reason. Not only does the quality ensure them to last long, but the tape strips can be removed and replaced with new strips. The only this that would affect the length of use, is how well you take care of them.
                          How long does it take to apply my Rapunzled Extensions?
                            • Clips ins can be applied in 10 minutes. They are extremely easy to place in as well as remove. Tape-ins take about 30 minutes to apply. 45 min at most.  

                            How long Can I wear my extensions before they need to be removed?

                            • Clip ins are moreso used for one day (special occasions) and should be removed at the end of the day fro your own comfort while you sleep.
                            • Tape-ins stay in until your roots grow out, and need to be lifted back up to your roots.

                              We are available 24/7. Simply just send us a picture of your hair, preferably in natural light so we can capture the undertones and one our helpful Rapunzled Client Care Reps will be in touch shortly with a recommendation.

                              3. You can order a colour swatch directly to your home. This will guarantee a perfect match for you.

                              For a deposit of $20 you can get your own colour swatch which will be mailed directly to your home which you can find your colour and mail back to have your deposit returned to you. 

                              WHAT IS RAPUNZLED RETURN POLICY?

                              Please note that we will only accept exchanges or refunds within 30 days of you receiving your order. Returns must be sent back exactly as they were sent to you. There must be no missing pieces (such as hair nets, silver twist ties, etc.). The hair extensions must be in their original product packaging and the security seal must not be broken or removed. If the packaging has been opened or damaged, or if the hair extensions have been worn or tampered with, please understand that we will not be able to process a refund or exchange request due to hygienic reasons. Human hair extensions are a hygienic product, and providing all of our customers with high quality hair extensions that are safe for the health of the public is our main priority. Once the hair extensions are tampered with in any way, we can no longer guarantee their safety, which is why we cannot accept them for a return or exchange. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.


                              I'M LOOKING TO EXCHANGE A PRODUCT, WHAT SHOULD I DO?


                              All returns and exchanges must go through a mandatory inspection by our quality assurance team once they are received If the above instructions are not followed, your return or exchange request may be denied.

                              If you have not opened, worn or tampered with the packaging or the hair extensions, and would like to request a return or exchange, you can do so by contacting us  within 30 days of receiving your Rapunzled Hair extensions. Please send us detailed photographs of the set you would like to return so we may determine if you are eligible for a return or exchange. If you are eligible for a return or exchange, we will issue you a return address along with further instructions.

                              All returns and exchanges sent back to us will be thoroughly inspected by our quality assurance team. Returns or exchanges must be sent back in their original, unopened packaging, and you must include a copy of your receipt of purchase, contact information and reason for return. The packaging must not be damaged in any way or have any missing pieces, otherwise, we will not be able to fulfill your return or exchange request.

                              Please note that Rapunzled is not responsible for any shipping and/or handling fees for returns or exchanges. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay for these costs. The shipping fee paid by Rapunzled to ship your original order is also non-refundable.

                              We highly recommend using a tracking number when shipping your order back to us to ensure that it gets delivered. Rapunzled will not be responsible for lost returns, and if your parcel is lost, there is nothing we can do to assist you further. Please also indicate on the parcel "NO DUTIES - RETURN." If you do not indicate this on the parcel, your parcel will be returned to you and we will not be able to fulfill your return or exchange request.

                              Please be sure to provide us with all your tracking information, such as courier and tracking number, as soon as you ship your return so we can make a note on your account. Not providing this information can delay the return or exchange process.

                              Once you have submitted your request for a return, and your return has passed inspection and has been approved by our quality assurance team, you will receive a full refund for the amount you paid for the returned item (not including any costs associated with shipping your original order).
